Area 2071. No, it’s not a new sci-fi movie. It’s Dubai’s futuristic new home for start-ups and technology companies.
Located in Emirates Towers, it was opened this month by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
As home to the Government Accelerators and the Dubai Future Foundation, it could well be where sci-fi inventions become reality. Area 2071 will bring together global smart companies, services, R&D and labs with venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and disruptive startups to help achieve the UAE Centennial Vision for 2071.
