Driverless and tech-assisted vehicles emerged as the leading trend at CES this year, but it was the 2018 Nissan Leaf that won top honours in the Innovation Awards’ Vehicle Intelligence and Self-driving Technology category.

One of the car’s most noteworthy features is a level two autonomous technology entitled ProPilot, which is a combination of lane-keeping assist and adaptive/intelligent cruise control. The model goes on sale in the UAE later this year.

In November 2017, Expo 2020 announced Nissan as its official automotive partner where they are expected to showcase a notable 1000 vehicles at the exhibition.
