World’s first floating drive-through

Sea legs at the ready! Ever the innovator, Dubai has revealed its latest world-first with a floating drive-through.

Serving up burgers to all sea-goers, the Aqua Pod – named Salt Bay – was developed by innovative award-winning architect Ahmed Youssef. The concept allows small vessels, kayaks and paddleboards to grab a quick bite while out on the open water. Meanwhile, larger boats can raise their Salt Bay flags when feeling peckish for the Salt Bay jet ski to deliver on demand.

The floating boat can be found in areas around Palm Lagoon, Al Sufouh Beach and Kite Beach.
