One of the city’s oldest gems and a glimpse into Old Dubai, the Dubai Museum in the historic Al Fahidi Fort dates back to 1787.
Taking visitors on a cultural journey, the historic site includes archaeological finds, galleries and a snapshot of Emirati life long before oil was discovered – including pearl diving and spice trading. There’s also a Coffee Museum with Majlis, Middle Eastern antiques, a café, and history section.
The experience does not end there – make sure you stop by the Arabian Tea House café, which offers true Arabian hospitality! For more info visit: http://www.dubaiculture.gov.ae
