The Louvre celebrates its one-year anniversary

In the year since opening its doors, The Louvre Abu Dhabi has welcomed more than one million visitors and has established itself as one of the world’s leading cultural institutions.

If you missed the celebrations earlier in the month of architectural pop-ups, manga labs, poetry, music and installations, never fear as you can now go and see “Roads of Arabia,” an enormous exhibition of archaeological finds from the Arabian Peninsula including those from the UAE. The exhibition surveys the history of Arabia, from caravan trading routes and holy pilgrimages to modern-day development and is well worth a visit.
