What do I do when stressed out? Cook!

When I’m stressed out, I find that I turn to one of two things: an extreme fitness class or cooking.

The latter option is my go-to because, let’s face it, the thought of knocking out 100 burpees while being screamed at by a demanding PT doesn’t always sound all that appealing.

There’s also something about losing yourself to the creative process of cooking that’s super healing. I always try to make my cooking environment as organised as possible, so the first thing that I will do is put on my favourite podcast and organise my fridge Marie Kondo-style.
