Learn to sail on the Arabian Sea

After a busy week at work, why not make the most of the UAE’s beautiful coastline and take up sailing as a pastime.

From catamarans to dinghies, there are a number of sailing schools, including the  Abu Dhabi Sailing Club and Dubai Offshore Sailing Club, which accommodate all skill levels under the international governing body, the Royal Yachting Association (RYA).

The courses include both theoretical and practical elements, so that by the end of them, rigging, tacking, jibing and capsizing will all be part of your sailing vocabulary. And yes, prepare to find your sea legs by getting very, very wet.
