Thinking of travelling to Thailand? Yes, you will have to get on a plane to get there. But, did you know you can go the extra mile to compensate for the many trips lost due to the pandemic by eating in a grounded plane?

“Plane cafes” in Thailand are offering customers the chance to pretend they are in the sky – and the idea seems to have taken off. Enter a retired commercial aeroplane in the city of Pattaya, named Coffee War.

Coffee drinkers can get in with a boarding pass, and lounge on first-class-style seats. They even have plane meals.
