However, there are still many myths and stereotypes that deter people from taking the plunge and exploring a solely plant-based way of life.
Information is now readily available, and documentaries such as “What the Health,” “Forks Over Knives” and “Cowspiracy” have been a health inspiration for many. The Veganuary and Challenge 22 campaigns are also helping debunk myths such as the “not enough protein dilemma” and “calcium only comes from dairy.”
