Hand hygiene

by The 100 Companies

Despite the outbreak of COVID-19 overtaking the news, it’s still cold and flu season, and washing your hands well and often is the best way to avoid getting sick.

Whether or not your hands look clean, they can still be carrying germs that are so small you can’t see them. This is why contact with other people or objects can spread germs without us realising it.

Running your hands under cold water isn’t enough. Proper hand-washing techniques involve warm water, soap and scrubbing the backs of your hands, between your fingers and underneath your nails for at least 20 seconds.
