Seven Emirates in Seven Days – An Emirati’s Charitable World Record Attempt

by The 100 Companies

Jalal Bin Thaneya, an Emirati special needs activist from Dubai, just completed a gruelling journey across all seven Emirates on January 2nd to raise money and awareness for people with special needs.

This is just one of many treks Jalal has completed over the years for charitable causes. In 2013 he walked 600km from Dubai to the Empty Quarter for the children’s Senses Centre.

His latest campaign took 14 days, plagued by a number of complications making his original goal and World Record attempt of seven days impossible. Record or not Jalal is our Local Hero for his noble contributions.
