New Year’s Eve in Dubai was nothing short of spectacular (as usual), from the record-breaking light show at the Burj Khalifa, to the numerous fireworks that dotted the Dubai skyline. But one record-breaking dish took centre stage.
The Atlantis welcomed 2018 in with a 50kg caviar tin, the world’s largest caviar tin. Breaking the previous 2016 record of 17kg, the caviar tin was served to 5,000 guests at an annual gala dinner, where guests consumed the whole tin.
The record-breaking caviar tin was the creation of the luxury caviar firm AmStur and The Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah.
