Carrefour has recently launched a first-of-its-kind floating supermarket in Dubai – where customers can order items to the beach or collect them personally on a jet ski, yacht or sailing craft from a specialized Aqua Pod – which is operational six days a week.
The Aqua Pod concept is designed and created by Aquatic Architects Design Studio, in Dubai, and has been built and designed with an eco-friendly focus.
The custom-built Aqua Pod has over 300 products onboard, ranging from hot and cold snacks and fresh food and beverages, to non-food items like sunscreen and pharmaceuticals.
