Since 2016, the UAE has created a specific focus or theme for the year. This year, UAE President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan announced that 2019 is the Year of Tolerance – reflecting the UAE’s ambition as a global capital to instill values of peace and co-existence in local, regional and international communities.
In a world that often demonstrates the opposite, learning to respect, appreciate, live and work with fellow humans from around the world is an everyday opportunity for those of us lucky enough to live in the UAE.
Highlighting it is a universally great idea.
