In the new, shiny world that is so often Dubai, we’re happy to hear that the city’s first market for used building materials, electrical appliances, used furniture and utensils will open soon. Another step forward for sustainability, the market will incorporate 120 shops built by the Dubai Municipality.
Spread over 11 hectares, the market is situated in the Warsan area beyond Dubai’s Plant Souk and will enable residents to source and repurpose construction materials and bargain-hunt interesting household furniture, kitchen/garden utensils and electrical appliances in one convenient location.
