Another super development is on the horizon for Dubai, or Deira, more specifically. Deira Islands Night Souk is well under way and set to become the world’s biggest night market, stretching 1.9km along the waterfront.
Due to open later this year, the Souk delivers a modern interpretation of the traditional Arabic souk. Divided into four villages, all 5,300 outlets are said to be leased already.
Operating from sunset until midnight and featuring 96 quayside cafes and restaurants, the market is sure to become a shopping and entertaining destination not only for the tourists, but for residents as well.
