There are few boundaries in the realm of possibility that Dubai doesn’t consider crossing. We’re reminded of the reality of the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, the hosting of the World Expo in 2020 and the flying taxis being tested in our city’s skies.
The latest futuristic project, announced this week, is a subsea tunnel with a high-speed railway line connecting the UAE to India. The tunnel, as outlined by the National Advisor Bureau Limited, would run between Fujairah and Mumbai and would transport passengers, oil, gas and water between the two ports.
