Earlier this year, Spotify began hiring for many positions locally, indicating an imminent regional launch. It is reported that Spotify could be joining the likes of Apple Music and launching in the UAE – as soon as November.
Currently, Spotify users who try to access the app in the UAE are notified that content isn’t available in this region.
Launched in Sweden in 2006, Spotify provides people with free access to music, as well as a premium paid option. Premium users will be able to access the entire 35-million-song catalogue – with no ads – and download songs for offline listening.
