Pale Grey and Illuminating: 2021 in Colour

Pantone has introduced two colours for 2021.

An optimistic yellow, set to evoke hope after a tumultuous 2020. Yellow, after all is the colour of sunshine — often associated with brightness, energy and a sense of happiness.

To accompany, is Pantone’s Ultimate Grey — a subtler hue, reflective of natural elements and said to speak of composure, steadiness and resilience.

The colours go hand in hand sending a message of encouragement. While the year ahead may feel uncertain, there is stability in the sight of the sunshine making its way through dispersing clouds.
