Sultan Sooud Al-Qassemi: Building Bridges Between East & West

During Dubai’s art month, we couldn’t think of a better hero to salute than Sultan Sooud Al-Qassemi. The sought-after UAE media commentator is a respected patron of Arab arts.

A generous collector, Al Qassemi established the Barjeel Art Foundation to exhibit his collection of artworks by Arab artists to as many people as possible around the world.

By making these works—many of which explore difficult social issues—publicly available, Al Qassemi is helping change the narrative on the Middle East.

To him art is a global language that can build bridges of communication between East and West.
