Local photographer and visual artist Yasir Saeed is capturing the lives of the residents of the Emirate through her website Faces of Dubai.
A documentary tribute to the city, Faces of Dubai was launched as an effort to record Dubai’s modern outlook, multicultural makeup and innovative streak. The platform was started five years ago in digital format, with its first print edition released in 2016.
It takes readers through the lives of Dubai residents from all walks of life, Yasir captures moments in time to shine a light on the city through a collection reminiscent of Humans of New York.
