Montblanc’s Writers Edition pen collections, first introduced in 1992, honour literary greats in history.
This year marks the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death, so Montblanc’s 2016 edition pays tribute to the famous poet and playwright.
The series comprises two versions: the Limited Edition guilloche multi-coloured fountain pen limited to only 1,597 pieces in reference to the year “Romeo & Juliet” was first published, and the black and white resin Writers Edition fountain pen, rollerball or ballpoint, that reference the flags raised above the famous Globe Theatre to signal whether the play was a comedy (white) or tragedy (black).
