The luxurious retirement plan

by

Want to retire in one of the world’s most luxurious cities? UAE’s new retirement visa allows expats over 55 to stay in the country, which will help boost the property market in the country.

Starting in 2019, applicants could apply for a long-term visa, which will allow them to stay in the country after their retirement.

The UAE Cabinet recently adopted a law introducing a five-year renewable visa, provided the retiree owns real estate worth Dhs 2 million, has financial savings of more than Dhs 1 million, or proof of income of more than Dhs 20,000/month.
