by The 100 Companies

Expo 2020 has been postponed by a year to allow participants to safely navigate the impact of COVID-19. Bureau International des Expositions members, the governing body of World Expos, approved the delay as the “right and responsible” decision amid coronavirus concerns.

The Dubai leadership reaffirmed its commitment in hosting an event that will capture the world’s imagination, when the time is right. Its vision is to host a World Expo that will inspire people by showcasing the best examples of collaboration, innovation and cooperation.

The global mega event is now scheduled to run from Oct. 1, 2021 to March, 31 2022.
