Skip the traffic and fly in Dubai’s futuristic Sky Pods

The flying-taxi future is closer than you think, as Dubai recently revealed this new mode of transportation at the annual World Government Summit.

The futuristic Sky Pods will take passengers through the skies, and the two models put out on display – the Unicar and Unibike – will move like a train. They will both travel on a suspended steel rail.

The Unicar will be able to carry up to six passengers and is designed for longer journeys, whereas the Unibike will carry up to five passengers along with their luggage, helping people to reach the airport or work on time.
