The only ones benefiting from social distancing: Animals

While humans are being encouraged to stay inside and industry has ground to a halt, the animal kingdom has taken it upon itself to start reclaiming its ancestral land across the globe.

In Italy, fish have started returning to the canals, and in the UK, goats have taken over countryside villages. In Dubai, gazelles have headed into urban neighborhoods.

It’s easy to appreciate that the Earth is healing and that our animals have never felt safer and more free … without us. Now is a good  time  to reflect on how we should be treating the planet we call home.
