A travel and tourism accelerator programme for entrepreneurs is being launched by Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism to drive innovation within the sector.
Backed by Etihad Aviation Group and supported by Wamda, among other Abu Dhabi associations, the programme seeks to identify the talent to further transform Abu Dhabi into the leading global hub for travel and tourism.
Startups that join the programme have the opportunity to be awarded $100,000 of investment capital – those interested in taking part should apply via the Fikra website before 5th March 2018.
Interesting fact – the word ‘fikra’ means ‘idea’ in Arabic!
