Hatta is getting a makeover

We all love Hatta – from the picturesque drive through the mountains to the AED 60 unlimited kayaking experience. What could possibly be better?

Well, Meraas has announced some major changes coming to Hatta, including a huge “Hatta” sign elevated in the Hajar Mountains – aimed at boosting tourism. Tourists will soon be able to stay overnight after a long day of touring the mountains. Meraas plans on building a mountain lodge with up to 20 rooms, as well as a little hotel on the banks of Hatta dam.

Additionally, a range of cool stores will be built to keep tourists happy.
