Help others: Few things improve your mental health more than helping others. Volunteer in the community or lend a hand to a neighbor in need. Your mood is bound to improve.
Be kind to yourself: Resolve to give yourself credit for trying new things. Kindness begins at home.
Put down your phone: Technology is everywhere and can cause us to disconnect from the people and places around us. Take technology breaks.
Get help: Don’t hesitate to ask for help. You wouldn’t hesitate to ask someone to open a door if you were on crutches; mental health should be no different.
