Following its inauguration by the rulers of the Emirates on December 2nd 2016, the UAE’s 45th National Day, Etihad Museum has opened its doors to the public.
Located next to Union House, where the UAE declaration was first signed in 1971, the museum has been inspired by the shape of a manuscript with seven columns designed to resemble the pens used to sign the original declaration.
The museum consists of eight pavilions, each of which incorporate interactive experiences that will guide visitors along the path that led to the formation of the union whilst exploring the nation’s constitution.
