COVID-19 stopped meetings and events in their tracks earlier in the year. It’s been tough for the events industry – but it’s slowly recovering with many governments rolling out rules and regulations to ensure safety and reduced spread during events.
In the UAE, concerts and live events have resumed, according to a government directive dated Aug. 3, but capacity and social distancing regulations must be enforced.
Strict health and safety measures must be in place, including full sanitisation and thermal screening of attendees entering the event. There should be a staggered time system for access, and staff must wear masks at all times.
