The UAE has been ranked as the best passport in the Middle East according to the third edition of Henley & Partners-Kochenov Quality of Nationality Index report. The country has climbed 13 positions in the past five years, coming in at number 46 out of 167 countries in passport strength ranking.
While the average value of GCC nationalities is 36.1 percent, UAE’s score was marked at 45.8 percent.
Citizen- and public-focused initiatives, infrastructural development, job market opportunities and open trade policy with global economies have been hailed as the main factors contributing to the UAE’s top position.
