Here’s what happens when we stretch:
– Endorphins are released, which boosts our mood.
– Blood flow is refreshed, bringing a calmer mindset.
– Muscle tension is freed, which means less pain and stiffness.
Stretching is great way to deal with a challenging day. There are many good stretches to do that don’t take long; my favorites focus on the hips and chest to curb problems that stem from sitting at a desk and hunching over your keyboard.
