With Dubai being a leading international aviation hub, air travel is a common thing for those who live and work here. It also means we’re familiar with what is often the laborious process of actually getting to our airline seat.
Emirates, however, is soon to introduce biometric technology – a mix of facial and iris recognition that will enable passengers to check in for their flight, complete immigration procedures, enter Emirates Lounges, and board their flights by simply walking through the airport.
The biometric equipment is already installed at Emirates Terminal 3 and will be operational soon. The future is here.
