Last week marked the start of Ramadan – a holy month for practising Muslims, but even for those of us who aren’t, it can still be a special time of the year. Rather than being a time for exclusion of those of other religions, Ramadan is a time in Dubai that welcomes everyone.
You have the choice to fast during daylight hours, or respectfully go about your normal day – albeit partaking of food and drink discreetly – but by night the sense of family, community and sharing of food and fellowship makes Ramadan special for everyone.
Wishing all our readers Ramadan Kareem!
