In our last issue of The Dubai 100 for 2017, we reflect on the great initiatives that have been announced or come to fruition across the UAE. In what has been another tumultuous year around the world – financially, politically, socially – the UAE leadership has stood resolute in fostering a culture of tolerance, inclusiveness and innovation.
Much of our reportage this year highlighted government efforts to make Dubai the city of the future – through technological advancement, youth empowerment and sustainability.
