Meet The Dubai Royal Family’s First Female Commercial Pilot

With a family full of talent, it’s no surprise another member of the Maktoum family is a high achiever.

Sheikha Mozah Al Maktoum is the first female pilot from the family to undertake an assisted flight as a commercial pilot. She earned her wings in April last year after completing the APP First Officer programme at the CAE Oxford Aviation Academy in Phoenix, Arizona.

While it has not been confirmed which airline she’ll be working for, shots on Instagram make it look like she could be team Emirates. Here’s to the continuation of female success and empowerment in the region.
