According to the UAE’s Minister of Future, the nation’s current education system is “underqualified.” In such a disruptive era, the UAE’s education system must provide young graduates with skills appropriate for the future labour market.
Business management degrees won’t do the job – they won’t contribute to the creation of a knowledge-based economy. The youth must have an increased knowledge of technology, science, engineering and maths.
Ranking first in the Arab school education systems but 45th worldwide, the country needs an evolving and adaptable new system of education that looks into the future in order to achieve its high ambitions.
