Increased annual leave and flexibility for Dubai employees

by

The Dubai government has approved a new human resources law, providing more annual leave to workers and allowing them to work remotely.

Under the law, which was approved by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, annual leave for grade 8 employees will be increased from 22 to 25 days, with grade 7 workers being increased from 15 to 18 days.

This was among the many benefits stipulated by the law announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to provide a “supportive work environment” for employees in the government sector.
