Businesses are at risk of a creativity crisis, according to The Steelcase Creativity at Work Report. The study indicates that over 50% of employees around the world aren’t given the time and space needed to be creative.
In order to foster a creative culture, organisations should:
• Nurture creative confidence – build a culture of self-expression and permission to experiment.
• Factor creativity in to the process – leaders must demonstrate how creative thinking can be a part of everyday processes.
• Create an emotional connection – build an open and trusting team culture.
• Build a fluid ecosystem – provide a variety of spaces, technology & tools.
