2018: A turning point for Saudi Arabia?

by

According to ICAEW’s 2018 Middle East Q1 Economic Insight, the region’s economic outlook looks positive. All eyes are on Saudi Arabia – with oil prices rising; a large-scale, anti-corruption crackdown; and women now permitted to drive, a new era is ahead for the oil giant.

Thanks to revolutionary reforms, the future looks positive for the extremely conservative nation. We live in a world where those who innovate displace and those who don’t get displaced.

Gulf countries are working hard to create diversified economies, but more reforms are required to future proof the region from geopolitical conflict and global crises.
