An annual list ranking countries around the world according to brand value has ranked UAE as the most valuable brand in the Middle East, ahead of the region’s largest economy – Saudi Arabia – increasing by 19% since last year.
The study, conducted by consultancy Brand Finance, estimates the brand value of the UAE at $707 billion, giving it 21st position globally. The U.S. remains the world’s most valuable brand, followed by China and Germany.
Looking beyond the moneymaking potential of the nation brand, the UAE is the third-strongest nation brand in the world, closely following Singapore and Switzerland.
