More than ever, the value of an authentic story — and storyteller — is critical.
Amid the pandemic, state and local leaders were driving the messaging, strategy and planning to fight the virus, with many receiving positive marks from voters. We recognized three important elements to an effective story.
• Authenticity: Telling the story from a true foundation, incorporating a variety of honest perspectives.
• Fluency: Letting experts tell the story when needed.
• Engagement: Measuring how target audiences are engaging with the message. Are they taking the actions they are being urged to take?
