Dubai Breaking Three-Dimensional Boundaries

by

A 3D building company, Cazza, has revealed plans to begin constructing the world’s first 3D printed skyscraper in Dubai in the next five years.

The record-breaking project, designed by Chris Kelsey, will have further details revealed at The Big 5 2017 exhibition in November.

3D printing opens the door for complete disruption of the method of using concrete, and architecture firms will no longer be bound to conventional moulds or labour-intensive methods that represent safety risks for workers. Through this, architects are able to design any imaginable shape, increasing creativity and breaking the boundaries and capabilities of architecture.
