Scientists and “psychics” like to give predictions of how the future will look. It’s not to our surprise, however, that those predictions for 2020 were nowhere close to reality.
No, cars don’t fly yet, but they are very close to being completely self-driven. Conscious AI computers with superhuman intelligence levels have not risen up and killed us all (yay!).
Unfortunately, we still can’t go on vacations and honeymoons to the moon, we still don’t have a universal language (although we’re close), and we haven’t made contact with extraterrestrial life. Finally, we definitely haven’t been breeding animals to do our chores.
