Qasr Al Hosn, known for being UAE’s most important cultural site, has reopened to the public after a decade of restoration by the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism. Visitors are again able to experience a celebration of the emirate’s rich history.
The opening of Al Hosn was met with an ongoing celebration from Dec. 7-15, consisting of site visits, performances and workshops.
Additionally, Salem Shukri Al Attas, an Emirati poet, and Souad Massi, a North African singer, marked the opening day festivities with a performance of “Memory of an Emirati Song” by Khalid Mohammed and Fatima Zahrat.
