As part of Dubai’s Vision to welcome 20 million visitors by 2020, Dubai Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM) recently launched the Tourism 2.0 initiative, which is a blockchain-enabled marketplace that connects potential buyers to travel operators.

That means hotels and tour operators can now directly connect and communicate with visitors, giving them the ability to access hotel occupancy and room rates.

This initiative comes as part of Dubai 10X project to establish Dubai as the leading destination for global travel, business & events by 2020. Will you be using the Tourism 2.0 marketplace for your next trip?
