A Dubai community group wants to get men talking about their mental health. Anyman, a no-cost support group run by men for men, is offering a no-judgement environment for male residents to confront their feelings. According to the World Health Organisation, one in four people will be affected by mental illness at some point, yet many men struggle to open up.
Male residents over the age of 21 are invited to attend weekly workshops at Jumeriah Lake Towers, to address their mental health struggles and practice coping methods.
So chaps, in 2020 let’s redefine what it means to “man up.”
